Makeup Before and after

These are the before and after inmages of when i got my friend to do zombie makeup on my acttors. in total they both took in the rgion of 20 minutes to complete. for chantal she put a latex piece onto her face then coated it in fake blood which made it look real. for oli liquid latex was used then picked at which made it look like chunks of skin had been torn off or rotted.

this took me a long time to arrange as i had to organise a time in which a total of 5 actors were available and the makeup artist was available at the time. ialso had to arrange this with the weather forcast as i was filing outsaide were their is little shelter.

Making fake blood

to create the fake blood used within my trailer i used these ingredients:

Golden syrup
Plain flower
Water
Red Food Colouring

By using these ingredients it had the consistency of blood as well as being able to stick to objects due to the golden syrup. I believe that after filming with this that it is a very easy and useful way of making fake blood as these are usually ingredients found around the home.

Zombie makeup

The makeup shown in this picture was done by a friend using liquid latex, face paint and fake blood. They were made to look like rotting flesh which clearly indicates zombies. I also bought some zombie contact lenses which clearly separate the living from the dead. (cost £10)  A picture of Chantal (female zombie) will be used on my magazine front cover as they are certainly eye catching and show off what the film is about.
