Script changes
Phone call:
unknown person 'they're coming back to life'
harry 'who is this?'
unknown person 'harry you know the answers'
this section of the script took me a long time to think of, this was because after feedback i had to condense an entire conversation into this short clip. i wanted to make sure that you found out his name and that he had a major part to play within the film. These short sentences i believe make this image very clear as it shows a sense of conspiracy as the unknown person is acting panicked as if something has gone wrong and with them mentioning that harry knows the answers it knows that he is in some way connected to this person. this editing took me a long time to get right but once i got it i was happy with it.

Shaun 'we interrupt your your regularly scheduled program to bring you breaking news'
'the pandemic has hit the globe'
'reanimation'

'infected'
this news report is meant to show that this infection is spreading fast, i did this by the first line, this shows that it is an emergency broadcast and that it is very urgent. The smaller text on this part also shows the story through 'The dead are coming back to life' this may be missed by some people but it clearly states what the problem is and sets the genre of the film. it is split up by static screens, i have done this so it only involves the most important parts. the three last words are big hitting words, they make the trailer speed up as the anchor is not being able to say the full sentence.

These title screens show how this scene is a flashback as it shows what past he is trying to bring back, and it makes this very clear.
vlog 1
harry 'today i saw something different, a human'
This part shows part of a vlog made by the main character, it gets across that there are not many humans left as it states that he has not seen one in a long time as it is different from just seeing the dead.
voice over
Harry 'i need answers'
This small part gets across that harry has a need to find the answers, and he is searching for an end or a cure to this infection which is causing people to come back to life.
Vlog 2
harry 'i don't know what they mean but i will find out'
This part is accompanied by a image of harry holding a map with drawings and numbers on, this shows that harry is finding out clues to what is going on and shows the audience that he is getting closer, it makes them think about what the truth is and makes them want to see the film as they want to find out the ending.

These title screens are just hard hitting they are used to break up the trailer and make it more digestible. the last 4 act as instructions and make the audience feel involved and give the audience into how the story goes. it gives a brief overview of the overall trailer plot as it progresses. As the main story is harry's search for the truth and how he has to battle the dead and trust the living to find the truth. the find the truth part adds to the mystery of the cause as it shows a zombie strapped down which shows that it must have been some sort of experiment, or it could be showing someone else who is finding the truth. This overall gives more range into the trailer as it makes you think that there is another character within the film, and another series of events that will unfold within the full film.

this just states the film however it also ties in with the last title screen as it shows how his las aim and his main aim is just to survive this zombie 'OUTBREAK'.

This is just the month in which the film will be released, i chose november as this is the around the time that many big blockbusters are released so that they may be released for christmas. also around this time the higher age rated films are usually released.
As you can see there is a meaning behind every title screen and voiceover and these took me a long time to create and get my desired effect on the audience. i wanted to leave an element of surprise and only give small parts of the main story but still lave some suspense to what will actually happen. this is what an actual trailer aims to create as it makes people more eager to see the film.

Final magazine analysis
This is my final magazine product, from the last draft the
main things that have changed are the side stories and the free poster
sections. For the side stories I went back to my research from other total film
magazines and realised that the style I was inspired by did not have many
secondary images and I thought that it was better to follow these conventions. The
free poster section has also been changed as from looking at other examples
they are usually the right way up and encased in a box to make them stand out
on the page.
for the side stories i decided to make these smaller width wise so that they do not cover up the picture (left side). I chose this image for the magazine cover as it clearly shows the zombie as the main focus point as the background is blurred, i did this using the camera that i used by adjusting the focus which blurred the background but kept her in focus. I also made the side stories very current to emphasise that it is new and could possibly be a real magazine front cover. i decided to put a hash tag on my magazine as it aims towards the age i was aiming for.
